Young Achievers Association no longer operational

Author: Mike Jarocki.

Established in Australia in 1977, Young Achievement Australia is a dynamic, innovative, non-government, not for profit charitable institution that is committed to developing the boundless potential of young Australians.

Our core objective is to prepare young people to meet the social and economic challenges of the next decade by providing challenging and inspiring educational programs that promote lifelong learning and foster qualities of leadership, innovation and entrepreneurial spirit.

Our policy is equitable access for all and our programs are free of charge to all young Australians from all walks of life.

Our Mission

To build partnerships with business, government, education and the community to provide all Australians, particularly our young Australians the opportunity to access vital business education programs regardless of location, circumstances, curricula choice, career paths or academic strengths.

Our Vision

To contribute to the prosperity of Australia through the promotion, development and enhancement of business enterprise skills, capacities and understanding.

How We Work

We provide the vehicle through which positive results can be achieved and we invite business, industry and government to contribute their financial and human resources to enable us to deliver our inspiring programs to as many young people as possible. Some of the organisations that help us achieve this include home loan, loan and real estate companies.

Our primary source of income is the financial support we seek from far sighted businesses, corporations and government organisations. To keep our operating costs to a minimum we seek pro bono and in-kind support from a range of professional service firms and organisations. To deliver quality learning experiences to all participants we rely on personnel from supporting organisations and volunteers from the business community to contribute their time and expertise.

We coordinate these valuable resources efficiently and effectively to achieve positive outcomes for both our young people and our supporters.
